Seoul, Korea,
July 5, 2010 – GenComm today announced the introduction
of its Signal Analyzer, the JD7108B, a solution
dedicated for network optimization that integrates
spectrum, interference, and signal analysis; covering
wireless technologies from 2G to 4G including GSM/GPRS/EDGE,
CDMA/EVDO, WCDMA/HSDPA, TD‐SCDMA, WiMAX, and LTE.
The JD7108B
offers performance and affordability making it the
industry’s optimal field testing solution for wireless
air interface and modulation performance.
“The JD7108B
signal analyzer has a complete set of metrics and
superior performance for signal and spectrum analysis of
cellular networks”, said Eduardo Inzunza, vice president
of international sales and marketing at GenComm. ”This
is the ideal solution for RF optimization covering the
base station signal quality and the potential
interference of external signals”.
The JD7108B
design consists of a high performance spectrum analyzer
with a frequency range up to 7.2GHz built into a
mechanical enclosure complying with MIL‐PRF‐28800F Class
2 specification.
The JD7108B
is yet another significant achievement of GenComm that
goes beyond the basic field requirements, offering
unique functionality that expedites field testing.
For example,
in CDMA and WDCMA network it has incorporated a code
strength indicator and spread factor identifiers, in the
evolution of EVDO it was implemented Rev. B
demodulation, and in LTE it has the most comprehensive
measurement parameters. In addition, it has the ability
to automatically test the RF and modulation
characterization of up to 20 different carriers.
